The first clinician scientist of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has graduated: "Holding a thesis defense session of the Ph.D. by reasearch of Dr. Saeed Oraee Yazdani, a faculty member of the university."
Thesis defense session of the first clinician scientist of the university, Dr. Saeed Oraee Yazdani, faculty member of the Department of Neurosurgery, in the presence of Dr. Mohammadreza Masjedi, the head of the doctorate and postdoctoral fellowship and other professors, was held in the university research and technology.
In this meeting, Dr. Oraee Yazdani, from the Functional Neurosurgery Research Center of Shoha Tajrish Hospital, presented his dissertation entitled "safety and feasibility assessment of intracerebral administration of autologous mesenchymal stem cells as HSV-TK gene vehicle for treatment of glioblastoma multiforme" supervised by Dr. Alireza Zali and Dr. Massoud Soleimani. The dissertation was then discussed and he graduated with honors.
